SCHEDULE
Our Positions class is aimed at both beginners and more advanced practitioners of jiu-jitsu. These classes look at the most important positions of jiu-jitsu and aims to let the students understand these through a game-based approach to learning. They can be done in either gi or nogi.
In our Foundations classes we look at the most common jiu-jitsu positions and techniques, giving you answers to the positions you will find yourself in most of the time. These classes can be done in both gi and nogi.
The All Levels classes look into one topic for a longer period of time. These classes alternate between gi and nogi.
Our Saturday morning Judo classes are taught by a roster of our experienced judo black belts—if you’d like to improve your stand–up skills, this is the perfect place to do so!
Our Open Mats have an open format with all members (including beginners!) free to simply show up and spar and/or drill in gi or nogi. Some of these sessions are labelled Per request—please contact us beforehand if you’d like to train then.
During the slots marked Drilling, the mats are available to use for practicing techniques, sparring, or anything you’d like—just make sure you have a drilling partner ready to practice with!
In addition to our two mat spaces we have a small Lifting Area (with a power rack, bench, weights, and bands) that all members and visitors are allowed to use whenever they want.
Our Kids classes are offered in collaboration with our coach Maksym at Vera Brazilian Jiu–Jitsu. If you’d like to enroll your child, please contact them directly!
During all classes, all members are free to come and drill any technique they want either on our smaller second mat, or in a corner of the main mat (granted that there is enough free space to do so and that noise levels are kept down).
